Keith C. Goddard, CFA
CEO & Chief Investment Officer, Co-Portfolio Manager (CIAOX)
Keith oversees investment strategies at Capital Advisors and was named CEO in 2003. He joined Capital Advisors in 1991. In 2004, he led the firm’s push to launch quantitative strategies, developing asset allocation models that remain in use today. Goddard is currently a co-portfolio manager of the Capital Advisors Growth Fund (ticker: CIAOX). He graduated from the University of Colorado, Boulder with a B.A. in Journalism in 1991. Goddard is a CFA charter holder.
Steve Soranno, CFA, CAIA
Director of Equity Research, Co-Portfolio Manager (CIAOX)
Steve joined the firm in 2017 and has 30 years of investment management industry experience that includes key roles with Credit Suisse global private banking, Calvert Investment Management and Oppenheimer. He started his career on Wall Street as part of a top-ranked investment strategy team before attending the University of Virginia’s Darden business school. He then became a lead sell-side analyst with Oppenheimer before starting a decade-long stint with Credit Suisse Global Private Banking, where he oversaw the U.S. Technology sector investments and was deputy head of Americas equities research. Steve took that global thought leadership expertise to Calvert Investment Management, where he oversaw the firm’s fundamental equity investment process and the integration of material environmental, social and governance (ESG) information with Calvert’s equity funds. Steve came to Capital Advisors from Ameriprise, where he was Director of Equity Research.
Outside Capital Advisors, Steve teaches accounting, finance, economics and corporate strategy (depending upon the semester) online with American University’s Kogod School of Business. His formal education includes an M.B.A. from the University of Virginia’s Darden Graduate School of Business Administration, and a B.A. from Colgate University with a double major in Economics and Political Science. Steve holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) charters.
